Neroli 100% Pure Essential Oil - ABSOLUTE (Citrus aurantium) 5ml

Neroli 100% pure essential oil is derived from the fragrant, white flowers of the tree that grows in the Mediterranean region, this neroli oil that we sell is from Tunissia, thought to be superior for aromatherapy use. It usually takes about 1 tonne of hand-picked blossoms to make about 1 kg of neroli essential oil. Neroli oil, along with bergamot, rosemary and lavender, was one of the ingredients in the original eau de Cologne. It is today used in the perfumery industry to impart its beautiful and delicate notes to many different fragrances. The aroma of neroli is floral, bitter-sweet, a beautiful non citrus scent, has a middle perfumery note.

Plant part used: Orange tree and petals.

Extraction: Enfleurage and steam distillation.

Aroma: Once diluted the essential oil has a beautiful floral aroma and a rather haunting fragrance.

Oil combinations: Benzoin and frankincense essential oils will deepen the scent of neroli oil, and the lavender oils will enhance its sedative qualities.

Blends well with: Bergamot, citrus oils, geranium, jasmine, lavender, lime, rose, basil, camomile, carrot seed, cedarwood, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, grapefruit, juniper berry and Ylang Ylang.
