Organic Bergamot Essential Oil (citrus bergamia) 10ml

Bergamot has a powerful uplifting and refreshing effect. Native to Morocco, it wasn't until bergamot rooted in Italiy the the properties of the essential oil was recognised.

Theraputic effects of Bergamot: Has a powerful uplifting and refreshing action. Used primarily as an uplifting oil and antidepressant. A balancing oil capable of relaxing or stimulating. Helpful for cold sores, boils, fevers, oily skin conditions.

How to use Bergamot: Antiseptic. Can be added to the bath (well-diluted oil 1%) to treat cystitis. The uplifting effect of bergamot oil enhances facial massage. Bergamot oil's delightful, fresh scent may help to alleviate the stress suffered by those with skin problems. Other suitable uses include: Bathing, hair care, inhalation, massage, mouthwash and using the fresh fragrance in a vaporizer/diffuser/oil burners.

Blends well with: Black Pepper, citrus oils, lemon, sandalwood, frankincense, geranium, ginger, cypress, coriander, elemi, clary sage, lavender and Ylang Ylang.

Please note this organic oil is not bergapten free and will cause sensitisation in sun light when applied to skin. Our ordinary Bergamot is Bergapten free.
