Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Cananga odorata) 10ml

Latin name: Cananga odorata.

Source: By water or steam distillation of the flowers of this tall, tropical tree native to Asia. Most of the ylan ylang oil is produced in Madagascar, Reunion and the Comoros Islands.

Description and aroma: A pale yellow colour with an intensely sweet, floral scent reminiscent of a blend of almonds and jasmine. It has an intoxicating and antidepressant fragrance; reputed aphrodisiac.

Key qualities: Powerfully sedative, soothing, calming, regulating, euphoria-inducing, and narcotic when used in large quantitys; aphrodisiac.

Blends well with: Bergamot, chamomile, hyacinth, jasmine, lavender, most citrus oils, many of the florals, frankincense, geranium and Rose.
