Rose maroc absolute has a deep, sweet and flowery aroma, an exquisite perfume oil. The rose is a popular flower in many countries and was possibly the first ever oil to be used in distillation. The rose maroc essential oil is mainly produced in Morocco, Turkey and France. The flowers that grow mainly in mountainous regions, are picked just after dew and distilled immediately for maximum oil yeild. The oil is extracted by enfleurage method for maximum oil quantitys and is known as absolute.

Rose calms and supports the nervous system, relieving stress-induced insomnia and depression. It's especially effectve for those of a nervous disposition.

How to use: Add 6 drops pure essential oil to an evening bath, then use the following for the face and body. Add 6-8 drops pure essential oil to 30ml carrier oil or unperfumed lotion. Also try sipping a rose petal infusion before bedtime, but make sure the petals are free from pesticides or preservatives. Steep 2tsp dried petals in a capful of just-boiled water for 15 minutes, then strain and sweeten with honey.

This essential oil extracted from fresh rose petals has a blissfully romantic and feminine quality. Surrounding yourself with the aroma throughout pregnancy will keep your emotions and hormones in balance. When absorbed through the skin the oil stimulates circulation and helps preserve the skin's suppleness and youthful glow.

How to use during pregnancy: Add 10 drops pure rose essential oil to 30ml grapeseed or sweet almond oil and massage into your face, breasts and abdomen throughout pregnancy. Dab a few drops on the pulse points as a perfume, or add 5 drops dissolved in 1 tbsp milk to your evening bath and wallow in its aroma.

Pure indulgence. Rose absolute is warming, uplifting, and one of the more expensive essential oils. Rose otto is equally warming, even headier than the absolute, and even more expensive. Both are aphrodisiacs and wonderful salves for dry, egeing skin, helping to keep wrinkles at bay.

How to use for wellbeing in later life: Add 5 drops of pure essential oil to a warm bath. Or, better still, mix 16 drops of any combination of up to four pure essential oils - choose from rose, sandalwood, clary sage, neroli, bergamot, geranium, junipr berry and basil - with 50ml carrier oil, and ask your partner to give you a sensual massage by candlelight. For a facial massage, use 4 drops essential oil to 1 tsp sweet almond and 1 tsp jojoba oil. Make sure you do a 24-hour patch test first.
