Organic Lemon Essential Oil (Citrus medica limonum) 10ml

The Lemon essential oil is an invigorating and cleansing oil, Lemon was used by the Roamns to counteract stomach upsets and to sweeten there breath. The lemons are mainly grown in countries like Spain, Florida, Italiy, Israel, Portugal and California for the purpose of extracting the oil from the fresh rind of the fruit.

How Lemon essential oil works: Lemon oil has a fresh, tangy, fresh citrus fragrance, is stimulating, invigorating and astringent. The lemon oil is also deodorizing, diuretic and antiseptic. Lemon oil is ideal if you need to clear your head during a cold or when you are mentally exhausted. The oil of lemon can provide you with energy for an aching body and boost circulation, warming your hands and feet. Lemon oil can be used in the bath, for massage and inhalations.

You can mix Lemon with: Almost any of the widley used essential oils. However it is not reccomended to use with other citrus oils or Angelica, Camphor, Galbanum, Ginger, Mimosa, Tarragon, Valerian, Violet and Yarrow.

Source: The lemon essential oil is by expression of the outer part of the fresh peel of the fruit of this small evergreen tree native to Asia and eastern India. Most essential oil is produced in the Mediterranean region, especiall Portugal and Spain.

Description and aroma: A pale yellow-green liquid with a fresh, sharp citrus scent. Its odour effect is uplifting and refreshing.

Key qualities: Refreshing, mental stimulant, cephalic, purifying, reviving, strengthening, soothing.

Blends well with: Chamomile, citronella, eucalyptus, lavender, juniper berry, frankincense and rose.
