Rose Geranium Essential Oil (pelargonium graveolens rosa)

The rose geranium is a hairy shrub, that grows up to 3 feet in height, with lobed leaves, serrated at the edges, and small pink flowers. The oil of the rose geranium essential oil is extracted from the leaves, stalks and flowers by steam distillation. A green olive colour with a fresh, rosy-sweet, floral minty aroma.

Latin name: Pelargonium graveolens.

Family: Geraniaceae.

Aroma: A green, rosy-sweet, floral minty aroma, very stong and powerful.

Always blends well with other essential oils like Basil, bergamot, carrot seed, jasmine, juniper, lavender, myrrh, patchouli, pine, neroli, ylang ylang, black pepper, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, fennel, eucalyptus, Lavender and citrus oils.
